YAWANAWA

The Yawanawá people are known for their powerful spiritual traditions, rooted in the belief that the forest is a vast sacred temple inhabited by ancestral spirits who guide, teach, and protect their community. Central to their spirituality is uni, their sacred plant medicine, which opens the path to deep visions and healing. The Yawanawá are also famed for their women-led spiritual revival, where women have become powerful leaders, healers, and ceremonial guides—a unique and transformative evolution in their culture. Their songs, body paintings, and sacred rituals are said to strengthen the connection between the human world and the spirit realm, renewing harmony and calling forth blessings for the entire tribe. Through these ancient practices, the Yawanawá carry forward a legacy of courage, wisdom, and profound respect for the living soul of the Amazon.

All our earrings are hand made and might/will have some differences. Its what makes them unique for any collection. These were made by me in my workshop where I surround myself with the memories of my life in the Amazon.
