TICUNA

The Tikuna people hold a profound spiritual connection to the Amazon’s rivers and forests, believing that all life originates from the great ancestral being Yo’i, who shaped the world and continues to guide their destiny. Their spirituality is woven into daily life, especially through the powerful ritual of coming-of-age, where young women symbolically transform into the “first woman” to honor the tribe’s origin story. The Tikuna view the forest as a sacred realm inhabited by spirits who protect animals, plants, and the waters they depend on. Through vibrant body painting, sacred masks, and ceremonial songs, they preserve the wisdom of their ancestors and maintain harmony between the human world and the unseen spiritual forces of the Rainforest.

All our earrings are hand made and might/will have some differences. Its what makes them unique for any collection. These were made by me in my workshop where I surround myself with the memories of my life in the Amazon.
